Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced On-Call Registered Nurse to support our Springfield hospice team. This role delivers timely, skilled end-of-life care in patients’ homes, often during nights and weekends, with autonomy and strong teamwork with the hospice staff.

Required Missouri RN license or Compact license; hospice experience is preferred, along with excellent communication, organization, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license or Compact license required.
• Hospice nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to immediate care needs of hospice patients during nights and weekends.
• Complete routine and as-needed home visits.
• Triage urgent situations and coordinate with hospice physicians.
