Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license or compact license required.
• Hospice nursing experience preferred (Overland Park experience a plus).
• Ability to work independently in home settings with strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High level of organization, time management, and emotional resilience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to the immediate care needs of hospice patients and families during nights and weekends
• Complete routine and as-needed visits in home settings across the Overland Park region
• Triage urgent situations and collaborate with hospice physicians to provide comfort and symptom management
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary hospice team, community partners, and family caregivers
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold all regulatory and agency standards
• Deliver professional, compassionate, patient-centered hospice care
• Participate in ongoing training, education, and quality initiatives
