Job summary

Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse – On-Call (Full-Time) to provide skilled nursing care and compassionate support to our patients during on-call hours.

You will respond to needs, triage calls, perform in-home visits, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high‑quality hospice care.

Current RN licensure in good standing is required; hospice or home health experience is preferred, and you must be able to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing in state(s) of practice; minimum 1 year of licensed experience.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Ability to work within a team with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and CNA leadership.
• Ability to learn and use an electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care during on-call hours.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, triage calls, and perform in-home visits as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Support patients and families with compassionate communication and clinical expertise.
