Job summary

Brighton Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate hospice care across patient homes and facilities in Indiana. You will handle admissions, patient visits, symptom management, and family communication with a focus on quality of life.

The role requires current RN licensure in good standing and at least one year of licensed experience; on-call duties may include after-hours work seven days, nights on and seven nights off, with strong teamwork across care

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing in Indiana with at least 1 year of licensed experience.
• Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
• Ability to work within a team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Ability to learn and use an electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and services to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities.
• Perform admissions and patient visits as needed; manage symptom control.
• Answer calls from patients, families, and customers; communicate clearly.
• Be an advocate for hospice services and Suncrest Hospice; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
