Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hospice care to a patient group in home, facility, or hospital settings. You will complete admissions, conduct visits, and respond to calls from patients and families as part of a dedicated care team.

This role includes after-hours on-call seven days on/ seven days off, requiring strong clinical and communication skills and reliable transportation to service areas across the region.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing in the state of practice with one year of experience.
• Admissions and On-call experience preferred.
• Works well within a team with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and CNA leadership.
• Strong clinical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for hospice patients in their homes or other settings.
• Perform admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Answer calls from patients, families, and customers.
• Manage visits, documentation, and required meetings; triage urgent needs.
• Be an advocate for hospice services and Suncrest Hospice.
