Job summary

Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our on-call team in Elkin, NC. This on-call RN role covers Friday nights through Sunday nights, providing evening and overnight care to patients and families in the Elkin and Wilkes service area.

You will work independently with clinical autonomy, while receiving support from a responsive clinical team. A current RN license and strong assessment skills are essential, with hospice or home health experience preferred but

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call nursing care during evenings and overnight hours

• Offer guidance and reassurance to patients, families, and caregivers
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
