Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our on-call caregiver team in Apollo Beach. You’ll cover clients as needed, providing one-on-one home care with a focus on reliability and flexible scheduling.

The role requires a Florida HHA certification, at least 1 year of home care experience, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Direct deposit and access to earned wages support are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming.

• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Observe changes or concerns and report them promptly."

What You'll Do

As an on-call HHA, you may provide coverage for different clients based on their individual Plan of Care. Responsibilities may include:

• Personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Observing and reporting changes or concerns
• Completing required care documentation
• Following each client's Plan of Care and assignment instructions

What We're Looking For

Because this is an on-call position, reliability and flexibility are especially important.

Requirements:

• Current Florida HHA certification
• At least 1 year of home care experience
• Flexible availability for on-call coverage
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays as needed
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and dependability
• Ability to complete required background screening through the Clearinghouse
• AxisCare experience is a plus not required
