Responsibilities

• Learns to read menu to estimate food requirements and procures ingredients.
• Prepares and cooks food in accordance with recipes and production records.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in the kitchen and work areas.
• Assists with measuring and mixing ingredients using standard utensils and equipment.
• Carves, portions, and plates dishes as directed and adds gravies or sauces.
• Interacts with customers and coworkers in a courteous and efficient manner.
