Americana Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Cook for PRN/on-call coverage in the dietary department. The role focuses on preparing meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner, with emphasis on quality, taste, and timely tray service.

Responsibilities include following cycle menus, reading tray orders, maintaining kitchen sanitation, and helping manage food supplies. Prior SNF cooking experience preferred; Health Department Food Handlers card required.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Preferred: prior cooking experience in a skilled nursing environment.
• Ability to read and follow production orders on tray cards.

• Prepare pre-planned cycle menus in an efficient and effective manner.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Determine if foods meet quality standards and assist in planning cooking schedules.
• Maintain and improve standards of storage, preparation, and service.
• Assist in checking food supplies on order forms.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
