Job summary

TRIA seeks an Occupational Therapist focused on hand therapy to join our Hand Therapy team. The role emphasizes direct patient care, professional development, and regulatory compliance to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The position requires MN OT licensure and NBCOT registration; on-call coverage with weekdays/weekend PRN availability. Experience in hand therapy and professional organization involvement are preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
• Registered nationally through NBCOT.
• Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
• Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
• Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist preferably in a medical setting with primarily hand patients.
• Recommend membership in AOTA, MOTA, or ASHT.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and participate in ongoing professional growth and development.
• Monitor outcomes and competency, ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory agencies.
• Communicate clearly with staff, patients, families, physicians and internal/external customers; participate in process improvements.
