Stillwater Medical Group seeks a Hand Therapist to join our Hand Therapy team. You will provide direct patient care across outpatient sites and support staffing continuity by covering leaves of absence and PTO, with aFloat role within a primary region serving St. Paul, Woodbury, and Stillwater.

The position is part-time (0.60 FTE) with a regular 3-day week and occasional weekend coverage, working across three locations with advance-determined sites.

Formación

• Licensed to practice in Minnesota (OT or PT).
• NBCOT certification if OT.
• Strong communication and data handling skills.

Position Summary:

Provide direct patient care across multiple outpatient rehabilitation sites within the health system. This position is designed to support departmental staffing continuity by covering extended leave-of-absence and planned or unplanned PTO absences, providing clinical teams and patients with consistent coverage during periods of sustained need. The Float HT is assigned a primary geographic region and will predominantly serve sites within that region. Based on organizational need, assignments may occasionally extend to an adjacent region. System-wide deployment outside the primary region is uncommon and would occur only in exceptional circumstances, with advance notice provided whenever operationally feasible. The Float HT provides patient-focused, evidence-based hand therapy within state licensure and clinical guidelines.

Work Schedule:

Part time (.60 FTE) - Regular schedule 3 days a week Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend. Float role between 3 locations. Locations are determined in advance.

This position will cover St. Paul, Woodbury and Stillwater

Required Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in occupational or physical therapy
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Occupational or Physical Therapy
  • Registered nationally through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) if OT
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Recommend experience as a Hand Therapist.
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to function independently across multiple clinical sites with minimal orientation time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support rapid team integration
  • Commitment to quality, patient safety, and compliance with documentation standards in EPIC
