Job summary

HealthPartners Regions Outpatient Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist with Hand Therapy expertise to join our Specialty Center 401 Building. You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with our Hand and Plastics and Orthopedics teams to restore function and reduce pain.

The role serves adolescents to geriatric patients, with pediatric care for some positions, and involves on-call/casual scheduling with days Monday–Friday and 7am–5pm operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure with Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist; NBCOT certification within 4 months of hire.
• CPR Certification (Basic Life Support)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations with pediatric care as required.
• Use hand therapy techniques to restore maximum functional ability and independence while reducing pain.
• Collaborate with Hand, Plastics, and Orthopedics teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Regions Outpatient Rehab has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in Hand Therapy to join our HealthPartners Specialty Center 401 Building. In this position, you will work with an experienced team and have the opportunity to partner closely with our Hand and Plastics and Orthopedics Team.

This position provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of hand therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

On call/casual

Days Monday-Friday on an as needed basis

Hours of operation 7a-5p

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist; certification with the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy within 4 months of hire.
• CPR Certification (Basic Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in similar settings/diagnoses
• Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
• Trauma experience
• Passion with hand and upper extremity while working towards your certification in Hand Therapy.
