Job summary

Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to service engine-driven generators and ATS in the DFW area. The role involves troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and start-ups across multiple field locations.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of diesel/natural gas engine experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. The position requires outdoor work, travel to customer sites, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2 years experience with diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose engine and electrical repairs on power generation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on power generation equipment and start-ups on new generators.
• Attend warranty work and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Work at customer sites or occasionally in the shop, with proper paperwork.
