Job Summary

The On Call Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a focus on delivering unmatched customer service to our guests and clients.

Essential Functions
  1. Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
  2. Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
  3. Provide ongoing communication with clients to ensure the success of all events.
  4. Follow through on all client requests.
  5. Look for opportunities to enhance clients' events.
  6. Maintain accurate client event information within the company's systems.
  7. Review daily invoices with clients and obtain signatures.
  8. Comply with all security and safety measures, monitor inventory, and ensure equipment security from theft and damage.
  9. Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition.
  10. Report lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately to management.
  11. Keep all Company occupied areas clean, organized, and up to standards.
  12. Work towards enhancing technical skills in audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.
  13. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior exposure to audio-visual and/or hospitality industry.
  • Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking).
