Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred but not required. Training provided.
• Strong guest service skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with basic food preparation, cash handling, and operating POS systems.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warm and serve grab-and-go food items and light fare according to safety and quality standards.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort opened in 1985 and sits on 25 acres of land. The 4-Star Full Service property is nestled in the lush greens of Southern Colorado Springs and oversees Impressive mountain views, along with exciting activities like golf, swimming, and tennis. Hourly Rate: $15.50 plus tips

Position Overview: The General Store Barista will provide service in the grab-and-go store located the Main Lodge of Cheyenne Mountain Resort. This position will be responsible for fulfilling guest orders. The Barista will prepare beverages in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests. They are responsible for ordering, restocking, room delivery of orders and preparing food & beverages orders at The General Store. The Barista will be utilizing the POS system to capture orders and process payments. Special tasks/deliveries may be assigned, as necessary, by the supervisor or manager.
