Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Destination by Hyatt is seeking a Barista for The General Store in the Main Lodge. You will prepare beverages, greet guests, and provide fast, friendly service while handling orders via the POS system and maintaining a clean, well-stocked market.

The role emphasizes accuracy in cash handling, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with food safety standards. Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred but not required.
• Strong guest service skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with basic food preparation, cash handling, and operating POS systems.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve handcrafted beverages, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks.
• Warm and serve grab‑and‑go food items and light fare.
• Greet guests, answer questions about offerings, and provide recommendations.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market and restock supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
