Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Riverton, UT is seeking a Food Service Associate 2 (On Call) to support cafeteria operations. You will assist senior cooks, prepare items from simple to intermediate, and help maintain a clean, efficient service line.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related food preparation experience, English communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Also expected are reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and math ability with 1–3 years work experience.
• Minimum 6 months food prep experience preferred.
• Able to obtain food handler permit where required.
• Good English communication or language of country requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serves food in cafeteria line
• Cold food preparation such as salads and sandwiches
• Cook simple to intermediate recipes
• Bake cookies, ready-to-cook pies, pastries
• Waste control and FIFO rotation
• Maintains clean working area
• Receive and store some orders
• Other duties as assigned
