Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Field Service Technician for the Gulf Coast Region in La Porte, TX. You will install, maintain, and remove cryogenic pressure vessels and related equipment across industrial and medical gas markets, handling gases safely and following regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preventative and emergency maintenance, inventory control, site surveys, and coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and produce detailed process diagrams for customer sites.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Driver’s License endorsements and forklift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and remove cryogenic pressure vessels and related equipment for Airgas and customer facilities.
• Install, maintain, and remove gaseous systems and associated components.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on Cryogenic Department assets.
• Carry out emergency maintenance on Airgas and customer-owned assets.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Work safely and follow all regulations and procedures.
