Job summary

Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a part-time, on-call Emergency Medical Technician to support Military PT events, testing operations, open ocean tests and rugged terrain environments. The technician must hold EMT certification with CA licensure and SD County EMS credentials, CPR/BLS, and pass a background check.

• EMT certification with CA licensure and SD County EMS credentials is required.
• CPR and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Ability to pass a background check; US citizenship required.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies at events and on ocean and rugged terrain sites.
• Provide EMT level care, triage, and minor injury treatment as needed.
• Document incidents with care reports and incident reports.
• Prepare patients for transfer to medical facilities when required.
• Conduct monthly EMS training and drills for staff and Marines.
• Coordinate with local EMS and support test planning as needed.
