Job summary

Cape Fox Corporation is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) in Harrisburg to provide on-site safety monitoring and immediate response during Physical Fitness Exams. EMTs will need current EMT-B and BLS certifications, with 1-2 years of field experience required.

This non-exempt position offers a total hourly pay of $35.87, with responsibilities including health monitoring and provision of basic medical care. Sessions are in three-hour blocks, and health checks are vital to applicant safety.

Qualifications

• Current state EMT-B certification is required.
• 1–2 years of field experience responding to medical events.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dismantle testing environments for safe operation.
• Monitor applicants' health status during testing activities.
• Assess and provide basic emergency care when necessary.
• Maintain the readiness of the first aid kit.
• Document all medical incidents thoroughly.
• Assist in conducting safety checks to minimize risks.

Skills

Current state EMT-B certification

1–2 years of field experience

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Strong knowledge of injury prevention

Ability to maintain calm under pressure
