Job summary

Cape Fox Corporation is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) / First Responder (on call / PRN) to provide on-site safety monitoring and rapid BLS response during USPIS fitness exams. This role requires current EMT-B and BLS certifications, plus 1–2 years of field experience in fitness or occupational settings.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($35.87/hr total, with $30.78 base and $5.09 H&W) and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-B certification is required.
• 1–2 years of field experience in fitness, athletic, or occupational environments.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set Up and Break Down testing environments for safety and efficiency.
• Health Monitoring of applicants during testing; respond to incidents.
• Medical Care: provide first aid and CPR as needed; call 911 if required.
• First Aid Kit Maintenance: keep supplies stocked and up to date.
• Incident Documentation: log incidents and coordinate with medical oversight.
• Safety Checks: implement preventative measures before and during testing.
• Events run in three-hour blocks; EMT works three hours per event.
