Job summary

WSP USA is seeking On Call Archaeology Field Technicians with 1+ years of experience to support projects in Arizona and New Mexico. You will work with our Earth & Environment Cultural Resource Team, performing survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring, with per diem for travel.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Archaeology or related field, knowledge of cultural resources regulations, and willingness to travel to remote sites for 10-day rotations. Camp options may be available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Archaeology, Anthropology, History or related field required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of professional level experience in archaeological/historic preservation planning and management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and mitigation tasks (testing, data recovery, monitoring).
• Assist with reporting findings and digital data preparation.
• Travel to project sites in Arizona and New Mexico; contribute to NEPA/NHPA/NAGPRA compliance.
