Job summary

WSP USA is seeking On Call Early Career Archaeology Field Technicians for project work in Arizona. You will work with our Earth & Environment Cultural Resource Team on sampling, testing, data collection and reporting, and support senior staff in mitigation tasks.

The role involves field surveys, data collection, and compliance with NEPA, NHPA and NAGPRA. Occasional travel to adjacent states may occur; per diem provided.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, History or related field.
• 0-1 years of professional level experience in archaeology/historic preservation planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and support Class I–Class III assessments and avoidance recommendations.
• Assist heritage/cultural resource investigations complying with NEPA, NHPA, NAGPRA, and state/federal laws.
• Travel to project sites in Arizona and possibly New Mexico, with per diem per diem provided.
