Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Staff Archaeologists to support projects across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, DC, and other eastern geographies. This role provides cultural resources support for planning, engineering, and construction services to commercial clients.

Position may be hired as Part‑Time, on-call (1–20 hours per week) with potential to move to Full‑Time; frequent travel and long days required, with a hybrid work policy allowing time in offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Archaeology/CRM required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional archaeological field work.
• Experience with construction monitoring and tribal monitors.

Responsibilities

• Support cultural resources planning, engineering, and construction projects.
• Work under supervision of senior staff and travel as needed.
• Monitor construction activities and coordinate with tribal monitors.
