Qualifications

• Experience with installing, repairing, and inspecting plumbing systems in large facilities.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot plumbing equipment, valves, and water heaters.
• Knowledge of safety practices and codes for school facilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, installs, repairs, replaces and inspects district plumbing systems (faucets, toilets, lavatories, sinks, water heaters, etc.).
• Installs and calibrates swimming control devices and water treatment systems.
• Tests and maintains cross-connection/backflow devices and gas services.
• Repairs or replaces water/gas lines and related piping; performs preventative maintenance.
• Maintains work areas and supports district facility operations and safety protocols.
• Communicates and coordinates with district staff and external vendors as needed.
