Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities professional to perform daily checks and routine repairs across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting. The role handles on-call issues and weekend needs to maintain a safe hospital environment.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, basic installations, leak repairs, and documenting work orders. Prior experience in facility maintenance and familiarity with maintenance systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license in relevant trades preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Available for on-call evenings and weekends when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and related building systems.
• Respond to facility calls affecting hospital environment and equipment.
• Perform basic installations of shelves, desks and bulletin boards.
• Check lighting, replace bulbs, repair floors, doors and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Inspect and repair leaks, valves, faucets and piping as required.
• Enter work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Assist in estimating jobs, scheduling maintenance and ordering supplies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment including chillers and air handlers.
