Job summary

C&W Services (S) seeks a Maintenance Tech 1 to inspect, calibrate, test, and repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, lighting, and safety systems in a multi-building campus. You will perform preventive maintenance and entry of service data into the CMMS, while following safety policies and local codes.

The role requires ensuring equipment operates within manufacturer specs and coordinating with teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active trade license (Universal Refrigeration and/or HVAC).
• Current driver's license is required.
• AA degree or two-year college equivalent; or 5+ years in commercial maintenance.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business material and technical instructions.
• Proven mechanical ability and aptitude; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, test, and repair facility systems including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, lighting, and safety equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot to maintain equipment within specifications.
• Utilize CMMS to document tasks, histories, and parts used; complete work orders timely.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE; adhere to OSHA and local codes.
• Coordinate with teams and vendors; communicate repair status to supervisor.
