Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Columbia, MO, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance in support of our operational goals and ensure a reliable, compliant work environment. You will coordinate with contractors, manage inventory, and drive safety, quality and cost outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance technicians, prioritizing work orders, inspecting electrical and mechanical systems, estimating costs for PMs and projects, and implementing preventive

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; preference for business management or five years of management experience in a laboratory or facility setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Demonstrates integrity and reliable work ethic.
• Strong computer skills and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands and manage time effectively.
• Shows logical thinking and sound decision-making.
• Ability to independently develop solutions to complex problems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiar with hand and power tools for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities including work orders, outside services, and facility-related emergencies.
• Inspect, maintain, and report on electrical, mechanical, and process equipment across all departments.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and communicate timelines and responsibilities.
• Resolve issues that could negatively impact production.
• Maintain inventory of parts and plan resource needs.
• Collaborate with other managers to mitigate risk and develop solutions.
• Estimate costs for PMs and projects.
• Oversee outside contractors and ensure safe operation on site.
• Maintain and implement preventive maintenance/calibration programs per SOPs and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
