Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking an experienced Excavation Services Technician to operate excavation equipment for sewer/drain, water service, and utility projects. You will read maps, locate utilities, and coordinate with plumbers and field teams to ensure safe, quality workmanship.

The role demands adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations, with on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDL Class A essential.
• 2+ years in excavation, sewer/drain work, or underground utilities.
• Experience operating excavators and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe excavation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate mini and full-size excavators and related heavy equipment safely.
• Load, transport, and secure equipment with proper methods.
• Excavate for sewer, drain, water service, and related systems.
• Locate underground utilities and read maps/blueprints.
• Coordinate daily activities with supervisors and crews.
• Perform daily inspections and routine preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and safety records.
