Job summary

Alila Napa Valley is seeking on-call Events Servers to deliver exceptional service at weddings, social gatherings, corporate events and more in a luxury setting. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who thrive in hospitality and attention to detail.

As an Events Server, you will assist with food and beverage service, setup and breakdown, and ensure venues reflect the Alila and Hyatt brand standards. Shifts vary, including nights, weekends and holidays, supporting a world-class events

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banquets, catering, or F&B service preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and professional service throughout each event
• Set up, service, and break down function spaces according to event orders
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and planning teams to ensure successful event execution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after service
• Represent the Alila and Hyatt brand standards at all times

Responsibilities

Event Servers are responsible for food and beverage service at hotel banquet functions. They ensure the function space is visually appealing and help execute the event menu, which may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Additional duties include banquet prep, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

• Provide attentive and professional service throughout each event

On-call team members must be available for scheduled events and may not decline three consecutive shifts when offered.
