Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group is seeking a part-time On-Call Event Cook for Patina Event Catering in Los Angeles, CA. You will prepare dishes per recipes and chef specifications for prestigious venues and events.

The position offers hourly pay of $40.00 and on-call events. Responsibilities include proper measuring and cooking, maintaining safe temperatures, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. Prior experience as prep or line cook is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as prep cook or line cook.
• Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision.
• Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Measure, portion, and cook all food items promptly.
• Ensure correct food temperatures are maintained and food is stored safely.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties according to proper guidelines.
• Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
