Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Catering Worker, On-Call at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH.

Duties include delivering foods and beverages to events, setting up catering stations, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and assisting with breakdown after events. This on-call position offers training and growth opportunities, and a competitive compensation package with a free meal during shifts.

Qualifications

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Customer-oriented, organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Routinely lift 30 pounds and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver requested foods and beverages to the event location.
• Set up all foods and beverages in a professional appearance and logical manner, ensuring all condiments and service ware are available as needed.
• Ensure all services are cleaned up at the end of the event or requested pick-up time.
• Breakdown all products retrieved from catered events.
• Maintain cleanliness of catering areas and ensure routine cleaning and maintenance of catering vehicles.
• Restock all catering supplies and note items that need to be ordered.
• Other duties as required and assigned.
