Beatrice Community Hospital is seeking an On-call Registered Nurse or Paramedic for the Emergency Department in Beatrice, Nebraska. You will work with patients, families and the health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to nursing standards and ensuring patient safety.

In this role, you may provide supervision to staff and efficiently manage supplies and equipment. The position requires Nebraska RN license or Paramedic license and current CPR/BLS; ACLS, PALS,

Qualifications

• RN: ADN/ diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• RN must be licensed as RN in Nebraska; CPR/BLS.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC to be completed within 1 year; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families and health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Follow Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care.
• Provide supervisory oversight to assigned staff and manage supplies/equipment/resources.
• Paramedic: collaborate with patients and teams to assess and manage care; ensure safety and resource management.
