Beatrice Community Hospital is seeking an On-call Registered Nurse or Paramedic for the Emergency Department in Beatrice, Nebraska. You will work with patients, families and the health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to nursing standards and ensuring patient safety.

In this role, you may provide supervision to staff and efficiently manage supplies and equipment. The position requires Nebraska RN license or Paramedic license and current CPR/BLS; ACLS, PALS,

Qualifications

• RN: ADN/ diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• RN must be licensed as RN in Nebraska; CPR/BLS.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC to be completed within 1 year; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families and health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

Job Duties:

Registered Nurse:Works collaboratively with patients, families and other health care providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. Follows nursing Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care. Provides supervisory oversight to assigned staff, and effectively manages supplies, equipment and other resources.

Paramedic: Works collaboratively with patients, families, and other health care providers to assess, implement, and evaluate the care of assigned patients. Follows Standards of Practice to ensure quality, safe patient care. Effectively manages supplies, equipment, and other resources.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse: Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Nebraska; current CPR/BLS. ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC and ENPC to be completed within one year of hire, 1 year experience preferred.

Paramedic: Currently licensed as a Paramedic in the State of Nebraska.Current CPR/BLS.ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC or PHTLS completed within one year of hire.1 year emergency experience
