Job summary

Lincoln Health Transport Service is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic) in Hugo, CO to provide rescue services and medical care in pre-hospital and hospital settings.

The role requires in-field basic life support, proper patient handling, and coordination with dispatchers and treatment facilities, while upholding patient privacy and safety standards. You will operate ambulances and support 24/7 dispatch operations as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must hold Colorado EMT Basic certification.
• Current CPR card required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CEVO or equivalent training to be provided after hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly.
• Administer basic life support and assist with ALS in various settings.
• Assess injuries/illness and prioritize procedures.
• Rescue and extricate victims using proper techniques.
• Maintain ambulance equipment and complete records.
• Coordinate with dispatcher and treatment facilities.
• Represent the ambulance service at public events.
