Job summary

Empress Ambulance Service, LLC is seeking an EMT-Basic to provide high-quality emergency and non-emergency patient care and transport in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings. You will work under the Operations Department, collaborating with fire, police, medical staff, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Current New York State EMT-B certification and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Negative drug test required prior to employment.
• Probationary period of 180 days.
• Completion of pre-employment process including background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency and non-emergency patient care and transport in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Maintain all patient care equipment, vehicles, and daily logs as directed.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Operate EMS vehicles safely and in accordance with company policy.
• Attend mandatory continuing education and staff meetings.
• Assist in public information and community education about EMS services.
