Job summary

Empress Ambulance Service, LLC is seeking an EMT-Basic to provide high-quality emergency and non-emergency patient care and transport in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings. You will work under the Operations Department, collaborating with fire, police, medical staff, patients, and families.

This role requires exceptional patient care and customer service at every interaction, from the emergency scene to hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Certification (EMT-B) and CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record and good driving status.
• Pass pre-employment requirements including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per protocols.
• Accurate documentation of EMS responses and PCRs.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and daily logs per company policy.
• Operate EMS vehicles safely and adhere to safety policies.
• Attend mandatory continuing education and staff meetings.
