Job summary

LLE Education Group in Virginia is seeking enthusiastic on-call Substitute Teachers for our Child Care centers. You will assist in covering key positions and helping deliver engaging early childhood education.

As a substitute, you’ll travel within the district to cover shifts, support children through learning and play, and collaborate with staff to create inspiring classrooms. The role offers hourly pay and flexible scheduling within 6:30 am–6:30 pm windows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a related role for a licensed childcare or educational facility.
• Able to meet Virginia licensing standards and pass a background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs.
• Commitment to families and communities served.
• Interest in early childhood education and teaching moments.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the district to cover positions (Stafford, Triangle, Woodbridge, Lorton, Dale City).
• Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students.
• Support children through learning, play, meals, and rest.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Collaborate with team to develop creative curriculum ideas.
• Communicate with families daily through mobile apps and personal updates.
• Cover lunch, breaks, and other duties as assigned.

Education

CDA / ECE certificate

Associate's degree in ECE

Bachelor's degree in ECE

High School Diploma or equivalent
