Job summary

Horizon House seeks an On-Call Direct Support Professional to join our Developmental Services Division at Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. You will support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living skills and community integration while maintaining a safe residential environment.

Dental, medical, retirement and time-off benefits are included; on-call shifts may require flexibility and responsiveness in emergencies or inclement weather.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 2 years MH/IDD experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Valid PA driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Computer literacy to document daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and train developmentally disabled individuals in daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care and health needs while ensuring community integration.
• Maintain a safe and secure residential environment.
• Be available for on-call duties and emergency coverage.
