Job summary

Bates College in Lewiston, Maine seeks an On-Call Digital Print Assistant to support high-volume periods and events. You will handle on-demand printing, prep, finishing, and billing in a fast-paced central print operation, while assisting in the Post Center for shipping and receiving.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some training in graphic arts or print production. Strong customer service and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service environments preferred.
• Associate degree or related training in Graphic Arts, Digital Publishing, or Print Production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to staff, faculty and students.
• Assist with package pickup/drop-off within the Printing Center.
• Operate production machines to support on-demand printing, copying, and special events projects.
• Provide support to the printing team with finishes to products requested by customers.
