Job summary

The Senior Hub–Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is seeking an On-Call Delivery Driver to fill in on home-delivered meal routes as needed. You’ll help ensure seniors receive nutritious meals with no fixed schedule beyond on-call coverage.

We are a large nonprofit serving Fairfield County; this role offers flexible hours and a meaningful way to give back to the community.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be available for on-call opportunities Monday-Friday.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• 18+ years of age; valid Ohio driver’s license, safe driving record, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to individuals in their homes and at congregate meal sites.
• Verify accurate meal and delivery counts before beginning each route.
• Maintain accurate records using the assigned route tablet.
• Perform and document daily safety inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Provide friendly, dependable service to the seniors we serve.

You’ll play an important role in helping ensure the seniors in our community continue receiving the nutritious meals they depend on. The Senior Hub–Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is a large 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Fairfield County. As the county’s Office on Aging, we provide programs and services that promote health, connection, and independent living for adults age 60 and older.
