Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Radiography professional to provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists and performing physicians during interventional and special procedures. You will assist in special CT procedures and ensure patient care is delivered across all procedures, and be on call when needed.

You will apply radiation safety principles and help organize the daily CT team schedule on shift, serving as a dedicated resource to the CT team.

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
• Certifications: A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologist or performing physician during interventional and special procedures.
• Assist radiologist in the performance of special CT procedures and provide patient care essential to all procedures.
• Be on call if needed.
• Apply principles of radiation safety.
• Organize the daily schedule and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.
