Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions in Pendleton, OR seeks a Mental Health Specialist I (Crisis Dispatcher) to provide crisis intervention and brief treatment via phone and in-person contacts, 40 hours per week. You will collaborate with local partners, perform screenings, document records, arrange referrals and hospital placements, and participate in 24/7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field, nursing or occupational therapy or equivalent experience.
• QMHA certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally competent behavioral health treatment via telephone or in-person.
• Coordinate with community partners and hospitals for referrals and crisis interventions.
• Assist with case management and treatment planning.
• Participate in 24/7 crisis response and on-call rotations.
