Job summary

Amentum in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Casual Security Monitor to escort and monitor visitors at the facility, observe and report security situations, and maintain logs. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, following policies, and escalating issues as needed.

The role requires standing/walking for extended periods, ability to climb stairs, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Government clearance at application is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• US or Naturalized Citizen.
• Must have government issued clearance at time of application.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds / 10 kilograms.
• Able to stand for 8-12 hours per day.
• Must be able to climb 5 flights of stairs multiple times within an 8–12-hour work shift.

Responsibilities

• Escort and monitor visitors and vendors on site.
• Observe and report security and emergency situations.
• Maintain visitor access logs.
• Escalate equipment issues to onsite Supervisors.
• Follow all company security and safety policies.
