Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a temporary role in Williamsburg, VA. You will provide client-facing security services across multiple sites, performing patrols, access control, and incident response to protect people and property.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available; compensation starts at $17 per hour. Candidates must meet basic requirements and pass background checks and drug screening, with licensing as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
