Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an On Call Cleaner to perform custodial duties under supervision, keeping facilities clean and well maintained. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, window washing, bathroom restocking, trash removal, and reporting issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use floor buffers/shampoo machines and attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass; clean entrance doors and walls daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies; maintain cleanliness of fixtures and floors.
• Monitor for defects (clogged urinals, lights out) and report to supervisors.
• Collect trash daily and place in designated area for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers as needed.
• Shovel snow from steps and walkways as directed.
• Perform periodic high-dusting, leather and wood polishing, wall washing.
• All other duties as assigned.
