This part-time, on-site role offers $15.00–$16.00 hourly and involves following lesson plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, communicating with therapists, and ensuring safety and compliance across campus.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Minimum – GED or High School.
• PreK substitution requires 45 Hour Department of Children and Family Training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform classroom staff member duties in their absence.
• Follow teacher directions and lesson plans to ensure cohesive learning.
• Manage the classroom to promote participation and minimize distractions.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Supervise students in all areas (hallways, playground, cafeteria, car line).
• Implement individual behavior plans as needed.
• Assist with basic care and hygiene tasks.
• Coordinate with therapists and multi-disciplinary team.
