Job summary

Utah Community Action is seeking dedicated substitutes to support classrooms for infants through preschoolers. As a Substitute Teacher, you help provide a safe, nurturing learning environment and assist lead teachers with planned activities, while communicating effectively with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid Training within 90 days of hire.
• Food Handler's permit within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support infants, toddlers and preschoolers in safe, nurturing classrooms.
• Plan engaging activities and collaborate with lead teachers.
• Communicate effectively with staff and families and maintain routines.
• Be available for random days; assignments may last a day to a week or longer.
• Substitute must work at least one shift every 45 days.
