Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare seeks a Chaplain Pro Re Nata (PRN) to provide as-needed, person-centered spiritual care to patients, families, and staff at our community hospital in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention and spiritual support throughout the facility. A completed ACPE CPE unit and a bachelor’s degree are required; a Master’s in Theology/Divinity is preferred, with ordination in good standing as a possible plus.

Qualifications

• One completed ACPE-accredited CPE unit and a bachelor’s degree from CHEA-accredited institution.
• Preferred: enrolled in or completed a 72-semester hours master’s degree in theology or divinity.
• Two+ years of ministry experience in a faith community or institutional ministry (preferred).
• Ordained minister (or ordained deacon) in good standing with a faith group (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide as-needed person-centered spiritual care to patients, families, and colleagues.
• Provide crisis intervention and spiritual support throughout the institution.
