Job summary

PJ Helicopters is actively hiring Call When Needed Second in Command pilots for our CH-47D Utility Hook program in Red Bluff, CA. Call when needed pilots will have an opportunity to participate in Fire Suppression, Utility and Construction operations.

Per diem, lodging, and work-related travel are provided. Employees may become eligible for permanent full-time employment; paid sick leave is offered and 401k participation begins after 1,000 hours in a year.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate with BV-234 Type Rating is required.
• Current FAA Class 1 or Class 2 medical certificate is required.
• Flight review within last 12 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate as Second in Command on CH-47D for utility hook programs.
• Participate in Fire Suppression, Utility and Construction operations.
• Be available for year-round call when needed opportunities.
